Here I have listed a few things to remember when placing an order for printing Envelopes.
1. Fisrtly Envelopes are priced per 1000 so you will need to Multiply your price by the Quantity you need
2. Printed Envelopes come in two main types Pockets or Wallets
Pockets have the flap on the short edge and Wallets have the flap on the long Edge.
3. Envelopes come in lots of Different sizes, but the 3 most common are DL C5 and C4
4. When placing your order you will be assumed to be supplying finished Artwork in PDF format online,
via email or on a disk. if your artwork is not correct or ready you will incure charges, this will also cause
a delay in the Production of your Printed Envelopes.
5. When Designing your Printed Envelopes Here are a few tips
Most printed Envelopes need a white Border around the edge at least 5mm, but can vary from job to job.
Try to Avoid large solid areas of ink , also if using a Printed Window envelope you will need to allow a border of 5mm around it.

We really took a chance this time by installing a full colour Digital machine for printing Envelopes , but after lenthy tests we decided to give a go .The results were better than we could have wished for, now we can print on DL C5 and C4 envelopes,in 4 colours both sides on window and non window envelopes.
We do have a few restrictions on the type of envelope printing we can perform. like using a special 100gsm
and 120 gsm envelope, we also have a special heat resitance window that stays stable during the process
of envelope printing,SO IF YOU LIKE THE IDEA OF SHORT RUN 100 TO 1000 4 COLOUR ENVELOPE PRINTING LOG ONTO TO OUR WEB SITE www.rapidenvelopes.co.uk
